When you celebrated 2020 and the start of a new year, you may have had different expectations. You could now be regretting that toast at midnight. COVID-19 has been difficult to navigate. It has created different paths for all of us. Each journey during this pandemic is different. Winding roads lined with loss of loved ones, job loss, disappointments, setbacks, heartbreak, grief, and endless human emotions that cannot be put into human language. Loss has become a common theme and has stolen much of what we knew before this year.
This seemingly endless trend of quarantine, accompanied by masks and health precautions has also added a sort of stressor into the mix. Our daily life as we know it has been obliterated by a disease. It can be hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel. We hope and wish there would be a glimmer of spark on a seemingly tenuous, dark road, but sometimes we only experience stillness and pain of what the reality of our lives look like.
In that stillness and in that pain there is something born in us. There is a saying that states, “Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough.” We have lost all we know to be our reality, and in a sense, we are free. Free to create a new world.
COVID-19 has taught us how to adapt and become innovative; virtual meetings are the new norm, FaceTiming is now how we attend birthday parties and grocery shopping is as easy as picking up your phone. We have discovered relationships, friendships, and new hobbies. We even may have jumped into a new workout routine right from our living room floor. Adapting as human-beings is what we are created to do. We are called to be innovators and thinkers. We build massive structures into the sides of mountains and even build bridges underwater. We cannot control the weather, the terrain around us, or the waves of the ocean, but we have figured out ways to keep going despite obstacles.
You are an innovator. You are a thinker. You are a resilient human-being that has all the capabilities in the world to keep going and start new. You may feel as if you are at square one with nowhere to turn, but there is light at the end of this tunnel and people to help you along the way
As a life coach, I can help you channel that inner strength and help you learn how to manifest it into your life. It is my job to help you renovate and create the life you dream of. Obstacles and setbacks are merely disguised as opportunities pulling you towards a new journey. While you do not have the ability to invest in things that are no longer available, you do have the ability to invest in yourself and discover your dreams. You are not alone in this journey.
Let’s start fresh and create something new together. Together, we can set a plan of action and start paving the road to a journey that’s inside your heart.
